I am a former elementary school teacher with 10 years of experience teaching 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades, leading a school-wide gifted program, and running an afterschool program for children of all grade levels. While teaching in Texas, I was honored with the Teacher of the Year award. I now work as a tutor, specializing in helping children with learning disabilities, including ADHD and autism spectrum disorders. I am certified in dyslexia training (a certification unique to Texas) and skilled in coaching executive functioning skills such as planning, organization, and impulse control. I tutor all academic subjects from elementary through high school and also provide guidance in test-taking strategies. My goal is to inspire a passion for learning while teaching practical skills to help students excel academically. I create a supportive, engaging environment that builds confidence and fosters long-term success.
