Caregiving is more than just a job, it is a passion. I am a skilled cma, cna and chha. I have extensive experience caring for patients with cancer, dementia, respite and end of life care. My goal is to keep your loved ones home and thriving. I'd describe my personality as compassionate, patient and caring. I started caring for seniors when I was very young. My grandmother was diagnosed with early onset dementia when I was 14 years old and what started as simply loving her and caring for her became a life long passion of helping others. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family. My skills include personalized, holistic care. Understanding each person's individual history, preferences and needs to provide the best care possible. Creating a safe environment, modifying the living space to reduce risks and support independence. Enhancing communication by adjusting my communication approach by speaking slowly, clearly and using simple sentences.
