About Cora

I've always had a passion for caring for children. Through my previous work experience and daily life I've found that I thrive when working with kids. I am patient, calm, creative, friendly, and resourceful. I have a lifetime of experience caring for children of all ages, and I'm comfortable caring for up to five children at a time. I can confidently enforce house rules in a warm manner as well as upholding religious practices. I'm skilled with sports, board games, puzzles, and academic games, and happy to help with cooking/meal preparation, homework, carpooling, and housekeeping. I have completed First Aid and CPR training, and I am good at communicating with parents about their child's day and communicate issues that arise. I speak English (y yo hablo español también) and have worked with and live with kids who have disabilities. I know that every child is unique and deserves respect and kindness, as well as maintaining my role and accomplishing the parents' goals for their child.
