I've been babysitting for as long as I can remember, starting my with my siblings as soon as I could legally stay home alone. I love kids and have nearly 10 years of consistent babysitting experience for multiple families. I also nannied a baby boy for about a year, from the time he was 6 months old, until I moved away. I am also a pet lover so I am comfortable with pets of all kind and juggling the responsibilities of both kids and pets. I have my own, reliable car that I can put car seats in the back seat of. I moved from California to Olympia, Washington in 2015 where I nannied for two boys for a couple months and worked various other jobs. I currently live in Vancouver, WA where I spend most of my time helping with my in-laws' small business, so I'm looking for another source of income. My schedule is somewhat flexible but I work mornings Mon-Thurs, I am available all day Saturday and Sunday.

Contessa was our nanny for about a year. She started when my son was about 6 months old. Tess (as we called her) was amazing, and our son took to her immediately. He got so excited to see her in the mornings. She would take him to the park, prepare his meals, and play with him throughout the day. She always engaged with him and was constantly making him laugh and teaching him new things. I loved that she would send me pictures of the fun things they were doing throughout the day, and was always very responsive to me checking in with them. We also had two dogs (one large, one small) that she would care for during the day as well. She was always on time and would give us plenty of time if there ever needed to be a chance in schedule, which was few and far between. We would have hired Tess again in a heartbeat, and were so sad to see her go off to WA, but wish her the best of luck in her new adventures.
