I took care of my Mom by myself for many years before I became a professional caregiver. She had many physical ailments, heart attacks, and strokes along with dementia. I also cared for Veterans. I enjoyed bringing life and hope back into their lives. We played games, colored, painted, watched movies, took walks, gardened, light physical therapy, went to the park to watch the ducks, Or just hung out and chatted.
