I have 10 years' experience working in the area of special education. I have assisted other service professionals in school settings and, also, taught one-to-one and small groups of children (all ages) with sensory disorders, learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, etc. I also taught students in contained classrooms as well as transitional. I am extremely patient, perceptive, kind, organized, fun. A child's happiness, success, and safety are of utmost importance to me. I value open and honest communication with parents. My nanny experience with children with no special needs is also in the 10+ years range. I have cared for and taught children of all ages. I have substantial infant experience, and it is recent as well (June, 2016).
