I am a 30-year-old female with many years experience as a care taker for all kinds of individuals. Everyday I push myself to be as patient and creative as possible with the people I am working with. I have 6 years nannying experience and 5 in childcare/caretaking. I love keeping active and creative at work! Prior to nannying, I spent 5 years working with children ages 8-22 residential at a special needs school. While here I planned and coordinated many after school programs involving science and art. I took care of all aspects in the home such as cooking, cleaning and hygiene. I also took part in many off campus activities. I was even chosen to go to Disney World 1:1 with a student! I have also worked as a caretaker for an elderly client. I am a very well rounded, caring and reliable caretaker! Currently I'm looking for part time work that can fit in my schedule around classes and part time work.

Colleen has been our part time nanny for the past three years. She takes excellent care of our two sons, ages 6 and 8. I find her to be consistently pleasant, responsible and dependable. From the kids' point of view, she is playful and their favorite "play date"! They truly look forward to the days that she is with us. What I appreciate about Colleen is that she is very calm and is able to gently redirect, even in the face of emotional meltdowns. Because she has built a strong personal bond with each child, our children follow her instructions happily (well, for the most part!) and voluntarily. Colleen has been punctual and reliable. I don't believe she has ever missed a day of work without weeks of prior notice. No matter the season or weather, I know I can depend on her. She also helps a lot around the house with the kids' laundry, food shopping and prep, etc. We fully trust Colleen to take care of our children and highly recommend her. She is a great nanny :-)
