I have extensive special needs caregiving experience both babysitting and also in my professional line of work. I have worked, a non-profit in Steamboat and have worked with adults and children with disabilities there. I currently work at the Northwest Colorado Center for Independence working with kids and adults with disabilities. I have babysat for a local family who's two children have profound autism, and one who has profound Cerebral Palsy and, at age 11, requires diaper changing, feeding pureed food, and all basic needs met. I have experience with a vast array of children with disabilities from CP, autism, Aspberger's, ADHD, developmental disabilities, cognitive disabilities (Traumatic Brain Injury etc...), Hearing loss, blind or visually impaired.... I am very comfortable caring for kids of all abilities and ages.
