About Colleen

Hi, my name is Colleen! I tutor children in all subjects with a focus on kids that struggle with reading and spelling. With specialized training and over 2. 5 years of hands-on experience, I have a unique approach that combines patience and creativity to make learning fun and effective. I focus on building foundational skills using interactive games and engaging materials that motivate my students to excel, giving them more confidence in themselves and in the classroom. In addition to literacy, I also offer support in mathematics, helping children grasp fundamental concepts and develop their problem-solving abilities. Through positive reinforcement and a nurturing environment, I empower my students to reach their full potential. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy babysitting and nanny care as well as cooking, reading and art. I'm available to come to you or meet at a local learning center or library for tutoring sessions.
