Hello! I am 64 years old and retired from my job with Ascension Health for over 35 years. I raised two children of my own, my second husband died of cancer in 2016, and I take care of my mother once in a while who has Alzheimer's, so I've been a care giver most of my life. I can't wait to be a grandma myself, but until that time comes, I would love to take care of babies or toddlers in my free time. I'm healthy and fit, do not smoke, or drink. I also had a nanny to watch my children pre-k, so I understand the utmost need for reliability, dependability, trust and being there for taking care of your children while you're at work or away. She was my first babysitter since I had my son and she has been amazing. Always on time, if not early. My son loves her and smiles everytime he sees her. It was difficult leaving him in someone else’s care, other than my mom, but I feel at ease knowing she’s there. When she first came over, she was thorough and paid attention to detail and even took my son on a walk around the neighborhood in his stroller. My experiences with Colleen have been nothing but positive.
