Hi my name is Colleen I have had my own experience with my mother who was diagnosed with dementia who I cared for until she had to be placed in a nursing home for 2 years. I also worked for a family with a 70-year-old man for the last 4 years with Alzheimer's where I did meal prep, lite housekeeping, laundry, companionship and needed assistance with bathroom. He had a catheter so I changed his urine bag and diaper when needed. I am very comfortable with animals have had them all my life. I have also assisted with medications. I enjoy very much what I do and feel I can provide a safe and comfortable environment for your loved one.
