About Colleen

I am trustworthy, compassionate and reliable. I like caring for seniors because I believe they have a lot of wisdom to share I'm looking for a job that allows me the chance to provide companionship and loving care for the Kupuna of Hawaii. I started caring for seniors when my two daughters were old enough to care for themselves. I worked for local agencies as a CNA and local care homes. I later returned to college to get a Master's in Social work and worked with local agencies and eventually in hospice care. I also cared for my mother with dementia for nine years until she passed away. In my spare time, I quilt & spend time with family and friends. One thing you should know about me is I am not young as others but I enjoy helping families with their loved ones. My skills include compassion, patience and using effective communication.
