About Colleen

Hello everyone! A little bit about me... I have over 20 years of experience working with children! I started as a mother's helper in 3rd grade and went on to be a babysitter, nanny, coach, teacher, high school Athletic Director and Assistant Principal, and most recently, an elementary school administrator. My family recently moved to the area from out of state for my husband's job. This meant that I had to leave my job during the school year! I am currently staying at home with our 22-month-old daughter while I get to know the area, settle in a bit, and figure out what's next for me. I love working with children and coming up with creative ways to have fun- dance parties, crafts, treasure hunts, you name it! I prefer to avoid screen time and rather find engaging, fun things to do together that help the child/ren learn and grow! I am looking for babysitting or tutoring jobs for the next few months while I take some time to figure out what I will do next!
