Starting in the fall, I will be looking for a position where I can bring my infant, who will be born around late February, along with me. This arrangement has many benefits for everyone involved. You would have a grateful, loyal, nanny who would be guaranteed to be taking Covid-19 precautions very seriously. If you also have a baby, they could have a peer with whom they could grow, learn, and play. Toddlers and older children are often fascinated by babies, and take great pride in helping to care for and teach them. I love my baby already, but your child/ren is/are just as precious and important and they will feel that way in my care. I have a degree in Early Childhood, wilderness instructor training , and first-aid/CPR training. A typical day with me would include playing in nature, reading some library books I brought, singing, art or sensory activities. And you will get a note with important information from the day. Good communication with parents is essential.

Colleen cared for our kids from December 2018-March 2020 when COVID hit. She is an amazing babysitter. She is always on time and always arrived at our house with new books or crafts for the kids. She is patient, calm, warm, and fun. She has a strong understanding of child development and was comforting and supportive during some difficult phases. She never speaks harshly, instead she always finds a creative way to redirect behaviors. We loved having Colleen as part of our weekly routine. Even after a year of not seeing Colleen because of COVID, when my kids hear that it's Friday they yell, "Colleen day!" I would not hesitate to hire Colleen.
