About Collee

Hello! I'm Colleen. I have several years of experience caring for children and in education. Aside from being a parent myself, I have helped six different families with their childcare needs throughout the years. I started as a nanny during college. After college, I took some time off to raise my own children. Once they became school aged, I worked in the school that they attended as a paraprofessional, assisting the Special Education and classroom teachers in following through with students' IEP and behavior plans. I worked in this role for 10 years. When I moved to a new city, I began nannying for a family who had a 6-month-old. I have been helping care for their, now, two children, for the past seven years. When the children became school aged, my role turned into more of a personal assistant/house manager role. I am not needed as often as I once was, and I am looking for a position that offers more hours and stability. My hours are flexible.
