About Colette

I'd describe my personality as friendly, empathetic, and compassionate. I like caring for seniors because I love hearing their stories about the past and what their path through life has been. I am looking for flexibility. I can provide transportation to appointments, shopping, and social events, as well as light housekeeping, and personal care. I started caring for seniors 35 years ago which was on a familial volunteer basis. I made it official following my retirement from post secondary education in 2018. Soon after my brother who had Aphasia was moved to memory care, I became his advocate. The following year, 2019 I started working in Home Health Care. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my friends, and family. One thing you should know about me is that I am 6' 2". My skills include compassion, patience, and listening.
