About Colette

Hi, my name is Colette, and I have extensive experience working with children. My journey began as a teenager when I helped my mom with her in-home daycare business. I spent countless hours looking after and playing with children of all ages, which sparked my passion for childcare. Currently, I always help care for my nephews, who are 4 and 2 years old, by staying with them so their parents can run errands or have a date night, and also doing fun auntie dates with them. I also spent several years as a lifeguard, teaching swim lessons to children of varying ages. Professionally, I worked as an EMT on a 911 emergency ambulance for 4 years, responding to numerous pediatric calls. This role sharpened my ability to stay calm under pressure and provide compassionate care. I'm certified in CPR for adults, children, and infants, and I take safety seriously in all settings.
