I have a degree in gerontology (the study of healthy aging) and a degree in psychology. All my life, I have enjoyed being in the company of my elders. I enjoy caring for them, engaging them and learning from them. I just enjoy hanging out with them. I have cared for both my parents at the end of their lives and for another couple where I was again a full time live-in caregiver plus numerous clients in the years since. I've taken on full responsibility of running a household, providing transportation, paying bills, cooking and cleaning. I am fully vaccinated. I recently became unemployed because my client passed on and I am anxious to care for someone again. It's my purpose and my passion.

Colette is a very caring individual and was prompt for all scheduled work. She paid attention to, and listened to our family members - and was able to handle difficult care moments well. She was excellent at communicating needs and status via text messaging/videos and tried very hard to help in any way she could. There were some complex medication regimens that changed a bit and these were difficult to follow at times. Perhaps a little more organization and help with some basic chores/organization/laundry would have helped a bit more, but she did focus on our mom. We highly recommend and were able to trust her as she provided critical basic support and companionship during the week and over night during a critical time
