About Colene

I'm one of the oldest of 25 cousins and have been babysitting for as long as I can remember. I am CPR certified and I have my bachelors degree in education, birth through 6th grade. I have 9 years experience working in a preschool, along with being a grade parent for my son from preschool to 8th grade. A lot of people call me the baby whisperer. I'm very patient, loving and very active. I prefer hands on and outdoor activities over screens. I believe in child independence to develop confidence and a can-do attitude. I also believe in soft discipline and routines. I am a Christian but will follow any beliefs or rules in your household. I'm not a fan of some pets but that can be discussed. I'm willing to do some light cleaning, laundry, and errands. I would love to go on "field trips" to events, parks, the beach, etc. Please reach out if you have any questions for me.
