I grew up with 2 siblings with polio and no use of their legs, my father had heart issues and died from congestive heart failure but I was able to keep him home. My mother had spinal stenosis and had surgery every few years. I also worked as a CNA and Activities Assistant Director as well as in hospice for a long term care facility. In my recent experience, I have 2grand children on the spectrum and I was primarily their caregiver until they started school. I work for Papa Pals which provides transportation or in home support to clients I believe all these things give me better understanding and compassion to be able to give the best care and companionship possible
