I used to baby sit and take care of my neighbors, friends, and families kids over the last 4 years if I had freetime and wasn't out on an adventure. I've only ever taken care of kids 6 years and up. The last time I baby sat was with a little girl 8 years old, sweetest girl I know. I have the ability to take care of someone with special needs, but I will need lots of specifics, the way I go about caring for adolescents is with high compassion and understanding, when considering even just a caretaker can truly influence the way you're kid thinks or acts. As such if hired for someone with special needs I want to be able to understand them and things that bother them. Small things are the most important, such as sensitive to noise, food preferences, do they dislike physical contact such as hugs. Anything you can think of truly makes a difference; I'll need to know in order to care and be respectful to you're child the best I can.
