About Cloey

Hi there, I'm Cloey! I am a Santa Cruz local with a passion for supporting the families in my community. I currently work as a mental health counselor, though I have spent the past 10 years caring for children aged 3 months to 10 years as both a preschool teacher and nanny. I truly miss working with kiddos, and I am ideally looking for a nanny position where I can continue to pursue my love of early childhood education in a home setting. My educational philosophy is based in play, positive discipline, and a love of the nature world; along with a Montessori influence that values respect and autonomy. I studied Early Childhood Education at Cabrillo and have 33 Early Childhood Education units, a current infant/pediatric CPR certification, and a B. A. in Psychology from UCSC. I love reading stories, playing music, dancing, arts and crafts, baking, and spending time in nature. I am open to meal prep, light tidying, and love taking trips to the park or beach.
