I am writing to recommend Cleusa C as a nanny. Cleusa looked after my son when he was around 18 months to about 4.5 years. We all absolutely loved working with Cleusa and we were sad to stop having her watch my son; we ended up moving out of the area. If it wasn’t for us moving, I am certain that she would still be with our family to some degree, as she was an amazing nanny to my son. She is a very reliable, trustworthy, highly motivated, energetic, positive, thoughtful, loving nanny. You can see that in her; she deeply cares about the children she works with. She is also very prompt; she has never been late one day working with us. Cleusa is very professional; she is honest and wants to be fair regarding schedules, hours, etc and tries to be as accommodating as possible. There were a few times that I asked her to stay longer; during the time with her, my older dog had some health issues and I had to go to the vet. She understood and adjusted her schedule to help me out, which I appreciate to this day. From the day we interviewed her, our son felt very comfortable with Cleusa. She was very comfortable with my son, and he with her. Cleusa had really good energy for my son from the beginning. She left a great first impression with us and we felt compelled to hire her after she left our house. Cleusa was highly motivated to learn as much as she could about our son’s personality and needs, and she worked closely with us to establish the day to day routine for our son. She was always receptive to our requests and feedback, and she demonstrated a deep commitment to providing the best possible care for our son. Cleusa’s day to day duties included: ● Finding creative, learning, musical activities to do at home; age appropriate ● Taking our son to the park, library for story time and reading, music class, gym and gymboree class ● Preparing meals/bottles and feeding our son ● Bathing and dressing ● Helping with a schedule for sleep, napping, eating, etc… (we’re first time parents) ● Story time and napping ● Performing light housekeeping duties ● Cooking and laundry for my son while he napped One of Cleusa’s best qualities that stands out for me is her genuine care for our son and our family. We considered her a part of the family, in fact we still do. We still talk and she loves to see how big my son is getting. I cannot stress enough how amazing Cleusa is as a nanny, and we highly recommend her for any family.
