About Cleo

Caring for an elderly couple for the past 10 years has been one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences of my life. When I first started, they were in their late seventies still independent but beginning to show signs of aging. They had been married for over 50 years and had built a life filled with love, laughter, and a few shared struggles. My role initially was to assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to doctor's appointments. However, as time passed, my responsibilities grew along with their needs. Over the years, I became more than just a caregiver, I became part of their family. I learned their routines, their favorite meals, and even their love story, which they never tired of telling. I celebrated birthdays and anniversaries with them, watched their grandchildren visit, and comforted them through difficult health scares.
