I have been in the care giving industry for almost 15 years! Many things in my life have changed in all those years, but being a caregiver is the only thing that has remained constant. It's not just a job, this is my lifestyle. I supervise seniors (and pets!), I cook, clean, assist with hygiene, accompany to doctor's appts or for errands, and offer companionship. I know how to use oxygen machines, nebulizers, pill crushers, Hoyer lifts, hospital beds, and much more! I also know how to feed through a g-tube and clean colostomy bags and catheter bags. I am reliable*, flexible*, compassionate, empathetic, respectful, and can easily fit in with your family dynamics. My goal every shift is to make sure the client is safe and comfortable while they are in my care. *please note that I do have a family of my own and although rare, emergency can arise * My personality: I love plants and animals, arts & crafts, books & magazines, politics, and most music , a little bit of everything really!
