About Claudia

Hi, I am a Grad student at The College of New Jersey majoring in English Secondary Special Education. I've aided Blind and vision-impaired high school/ college students through career development and daily living activities. I was a STEM Explorers Mentor for the Millhill Child and Family Development Center in which I coached, taught, and provided assistance to students participating in science activities and social and emotional learning workshops. Also, I've had two student teaching experiences where I worked with and provided guidance to middle school students. I have been babysitting intermittently since I was 16 and pet sitting since 15, and I'm currently 24. I'm friendly, outgoing, and enjoy working with children because I love their childlike wonder and continuous growth. Whether it's playing pretend or helping with homework, I value creating fun and meaningful bonds with the kids I work with. I would love to help around the house and care for your child and/or pets!
