I worked as a mentor for a few years at Future Leaders of America. FLA offers mentor-ship for youth that struggle with learning disabilities, come from troubled backgrounds, and/or have special needs. I worked with youth who had Selective Mutism, Autism, ADHD and severe anxiety. Although I have not worked with students with other special needs, I am confident I am able to! I am very patient, kind, and friendly. I am studying to be a teacher, and have taken some courses specializing in working with students with special needs. I love making people feel comfortable, and caring for anyone who needs it!
