Extremely disappointed, irritated, and shocked that Claudia has abandoned our family. She started watching our son (then 12 months old) in November and recently decided to not show for the Monday-Wednesday, 9am-5pm schedule she committed to. Now, after 4 months of watching our son, Claudia's sudden disappearance is shockingly unprofessional and extremely un-empathetic in what should be an empathy-first role. Not only has she abandoned our son, but she also forced my husband and myself into a horrible position, without notice, as we both work full time jobs and are expecting our second child in 3 weeks. As a result, at 8.5 months pregnant, working full-time, we are now scrambling to find child care for our 16-month old. We've never received a text or call from her saying she quit or explaining why she's a no-show. She simply stopped showing up.
