While I was in high school I volunteered every summer at a Special Needs Camp called Camp Dream. I volunteered as a caregiver for men and women of various ages with varying levels of needs. The most care I was required to give was for a 16-year-old girl bound to a wheel chair who required most, if not full, assistance with everything. I enjoy helping even with the most basic and simple needs and finding ways to spark joy in others throughout the day.
