About Claudia

Hi! My name is Claudia and I am a special ed teacher for MCPS with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and am working on my masters in special education. My career is completely inspired by my passion for helping others, especially children. I enjoy creating art, being in nature/hiking, cooking, and living an active lifestyle--these things bring me the most happiness! Experience: MCPS Special Ed Teacher, Para-educator grades k-5 & 9-12, MCPS Substitute, Art Teacher/Director for summer camp, Young Rembrandts Art Teacher k-5, teacher's assistant at Damascus Elementary School-- grades 3 & 4, teacher's assistant for high school grades 9-12 for students with mental and physical disabilities, paid academic tutor for Baker Middle School students, babysitter for elementary/middle school children, Resident Assistant (RA) for college students at Salisbury University.
