About Claudia

I have worked in the healthcare field for over 40 years. My last positions being a patient care coordinator and social worker. Knowledge of: Medical terminology and Medications; meal preparation in accordance with diet; assisting with personal care; light housekeeping: companionship: exercise routine as well as activities of interest. While working full time: I have taken care of an elderly couple for over five years; my Mother In Law with Vascular Dementia while living in our home; care of my own Mother preparing for a surgery and after while she was recovering. In the past 5 years I have cared for: a man in is 50's recovering from alcoholism with other comorbidities ; a woman in her 80's with colon cancer on hospice; a woman in her 80's with MS; a woman in her 90's with dementia and a couple in their 90's. I am self motivated with the clients best interest at heart.
