About Claudia

I'm a Neuroscience PhD student conducting clinical research on Parkinson's disease. I have a fellowship with an FAU affiliated outreach group, ASCEND, where teach an after school program for middle school students about neuroscience! I am involved in community events where we try and get the public involved to educate. I am artistic and create neuroscience art for educational purposes. I have experience with children throughout my undergraduate years where I babysat for a few families as side jobs while I completed my bachelors. I am an enthusiastic and compassionate person. I have received great reviews from the parents of my students in my outreach program. I do work full time completing my thesis work so my hours can be restrictive at times, however with advanced noticed, I can more often than not be accommodating. Whether you need an overnight/weekend babysitter or some child care in the evenings, I hope to be of help to your family!
