About Clarissa

I am a Certified Postpartum Doula (DONA) and Trained Lactation Education Counselor working as the sole proprietor of my business The Distinguished Doula LLC, through which I've worked with 50+ newborns and their families, teaching baby-related skills, educating in lactation and feeding, being an extra pair of hands, and providing a variety of resources and referrals. Despite having been a live-in and live-out nanny before becoming a doula, I am ONLY looking for night postpartum doula positions (and occasionally daytime); I am not currently accepting nanny jobs. As I pursue my International Board Certified Lactation Consulting (IBCLC) credential, my speciality is supporting postpartum families in the best way I can! Doulas are similar to Night Nannies and Newborn Care Specialists (often called "night nurses").
