About Clarissa

I have worked in childcare and education in various forms for my entire career. I've worked in a pre-k setting and ran a home daycare for two years back in my home state of Kansas, where I cared for as many as 5 children at a time and was 1 of 12 daycare providers in the state to be selected for the Strengthening Families grant program. I moved to Chicago in 2012 and have been a nanny since. I've worked both part time and full time for several families starting when their children were infants. I have experience caring for all ages, as well as twin sets. I graduated from KU with a degree in Early Childhood Education and frequently participate in continued education courses and training in early childhood development on topics ranging from social and emotional learning to developmental disabilities. Firm believer in the benefits of outdoor play, nutritious meals, and positive reinforcement. Currently employed full time & only looking for date nights, weekends, and drop in care.
