Enter a zip code to get matched with caregivers that meet your needs
I started my career with helping people with intellectual disabilities in 2016. I worked in that profession for 7 years. I worked for 2 major companies in San Angelo, TX. I had roughly around 10 different people I worked with in the span of my 7 years there. I helped with meals, laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning, medicines, & appointments. While working in this industry & for as long as I did, you can't help to realize the lack of care these companies have. I've seen first hand so much neglect, stealing, etc. If I wasn't working with these clients, who knows if they would've been token care of properly. If you have money to hire a private caregiver please do so, don't feel like putting your loved one into a company to make things "easier" would be the best idea, because coming from someone who worked there for years, it won't be. I stuck around as long as I did for my clients. I loved all of them like my very own.
