About Clara

We have known and loved Clara since the summer of 2016, when she began working with my son, who was then five years old. She stayed with us for a month at our family home. Over the years became a steady and nurturing presence-regularly caring for him while moving between his father’s home in New Jersey and mine in New York. Clara navigated this delicate situation with extraordinary grace, discretion, and unwavering reliability. My son has ADHD, and Clara’s gentle, grounding presence had a profound impact on him. She introduced him to meditation, engaged him in thoughtful conversations, and became a calming, loving presence in our home. She also happens to be a wonderful cook, creating delicious and nourishing meals for our family. Beyond caregiving, she guided me toward holistic remedies and DBT techniques that have helped my family enormously. Clara embodies kindness, creativity, and thoughtfulness. Though she left for a few years to work full-time with another family, we remained in close touch. In recent years, she has continued to support us in meaningful ways, spending time with my now-teenage son when I travel, picking him up late at night after a delayed flight, and continuing their meditation practice together. He adores her, and so do I. Clara is a rare and beautiful soul, and anyone lucky enough to work with her will feel her warmth, wisdom, and deep care.
