About Clara

I moved to my current house many years ago with an infant in tow and a baby on the way. I started telling my new neighbors that I needed a nanny, and everyone recommended Clara! She had worked for several families in the area over the years. I hired her and she was INCREDIBLE. She was amazing with my son - loving, knowledgeable, calm, comforting, attentive...and when my daughter arrived, Clara didn't miss a beat. She would play with the kids, read to them, bathe them, and she taught them how to speak Spanish. When they were old enough, she took them to the park and around the neighborhood so they could meet new friends. Clara would take them to classes, to the playground, and eventually to school - she was very accommodating to my wishes and gave my kids the experiences I was not able to give them while I was working. Clara's #1 priority always was the kids, but somehow she found time to keep the house clean and the laundry perfectly folded and put away, too! In a perfect world we would have kept Clara on forever, but the kids grew up and started spending full days at school and doing activities, so it was time for her to find a new position. She continued to baby-sit for us now-and-then, though, and she and her daughter remain a part of our family today. I recommend Clara absolutely and without hesitation. She is honest, reliable, completely trustworthy, and simply a beautiful person. Any family would be lucky to have her!
