About Clara

Hi! My name is Clara, I'm 23 and recently graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in music last May. I'm currently working at a diner as a server, but I'm looking to expand into part-time childcare as well. I worked with children from when I was 13-18 on a weekly/monthly basis, babysitting for kids in my neighborhood with ages ranging from a few months old to 9 years old, and taking care of my cousins as they grew up (who are now 16 and 18!). I found so much fulfillment in being a care taker that a goal of mine is to become a full-time nanny within the coming years. I am CPR and First Aid certified, respond well under pressure, and I'm a great cook (if I do say so myself). I'm willing to do work around the house, and will be very receptive to parental needs and restrictions as I value the importance of raising children in safe, supportive, and consistent households. I believe strongly in supporting curiosity and creativity because as a musician, that is my life!
