I'd describe my personality as patient, compassionate and caring I like caring for seniors because I value the wisdom, knowledge and they have to share. I oversee the care of my 91-year-old mother who has dementia and I understand from personal experience how important it is to acknowledge everyone's value. It's fulfilling for me to know that I'm able to make someone feel special no matter their place on the cognitive spectrum. I'm looking for a job that provides flexibility, making a difference and providing part-time income based on my skills and experience. I started caring for seniors after earning my BSN. Don't work as a nurse now but oversee my 91-year-old mother's care. I enjoy gardening, working out, entertaining and being with my rescue cats, Javi and Guszti. I'm extremely dependable, will treat my clients with respect and made to feel safe and well cared for. My skills include patience, companionship and finding an activity that will engage the person I'm caring for.
