I'm a patient and friendly childcare professional with a passion for fostering children's growth and development. I have 4 years of experience caring for children above the age of 5, and I'm comfortable caring for up to 3 children at a time. With an educational, personal, and professional background in children's mental health, I emphasize social-emotional growth in my work with children. I believe kids should lead the way and am there to assist while maintaining safety, expectations, and structure. I have supported children in exploring various interests such as music, arts, math, science, and sports. I'm happy to help with cooking and meal preparation, carpooling, and swimming supervision. I have First Aid and CPR training, as well as coursework in early child development. I am also skilled and trained in de-escalation, co-regulation, and behavior change. I regularly update parents via text or phone call, and I follow their preferred communication method.
