As a caregiver, I find immense joy in nurturing the growth and development of children. With 7 years of experience as a babysitter, I bring a calm, welcoming, and joyful presence to childcare. I believe in open communication with parents, ensuring their preferences are met when it comes to updates and check-ins throughout the day. My favorite babysitting activities include reading and playing outdoors, fostering a love for learning and adventure in the children I care for. With my First Aid and CPR training, I am well-equipped to handle any situation that may arise. I am also comfortable helping with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. My specific experiences include a long-term babysitting job (two girls, who were 2 and 5 when I started), with family I am still close with today, and a summer internship at the Bowdoin College Children's Center with 1- and 2-year-olds.
