Clara was a caregiver for our two sons, aged 5 and 9, during the daytime hours for the three months of Summer, 2014, and occasional evenings from 2010-2015. She provided entertainment and supervision for approximately 25-40 hours/week including transportation from our home to activities and camps, unsupervised use of our vehicles and public transportation, swimming lessons and recreational swimming. Care included serving meals and some light housekeeping. She exceeded our expectations for creating and initiating structured activities and introducing basic Spanish vocabulary in their daily activities. Clara handled petty cash for activities and assisted in organizing our household by ensuring that our sons fulfilled small daily jobs, and took notes on what toys and clothing our children did and did not use so that we could simplify. The only reason we do not have Clara with us this summer is that we moved to Colorado somewhat unexpectedly and she's not just down the street anymore!
