About Clair

I am a recently retired elementary school teacher from Maryland, and moved to Richmond this fall. I raised two sons of my own, and have always loved being around children. Being active (walking, swimming, hiking, biking, yoga) keeps me happy and healthy, and I'm an avid reader and a lifelong learner. I have a lot of infant care experience - crying babies never drive me away! Some of my favorite activities to do with children are outdoor play/walks, visiting local playgrounds, puzzles, games, and reading books. I'm looking to care for infants/children during the day or evenings periodically. Weekends are usually out, but it may work out sometimes depending on the day and time. I'd be willing to do overnight care if needed and the dates/times work out. I'm always happy to help around the house while the kids nap!
