About Claire

Hi, I'm Claire! I'm originally from Papillion, Nebraska, and recently graduated from Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota, with a degree in elementary education and a minor in reading. I played collegiate softball for four years, which helped me develop teamwork, leadership, and patience, qualities I bring into my childcare experience. I have worked with children of all ages, previously at a child development center and as a nanny for a family of three (plus their pup!). Currently, I care for a 1-year-old while substitute teaching in the Aberdeen Public School District. This fall, I will begin teaching 1st grade at Fort Crook Elementary in Omaha, where I'm moving at the end of May. Until then, I'm looking for opportunities to nanny or babysit! I am responsible, energetic, and love engaging kids in fun, educational activities, encouraging outdoor play, and fostering a love for reading. I'd love the opportunity to meet your family and care for your little ones!
