About Claire

My name is Claire and I'm looking for some new young people to tutor in English! I graduated magna cum laude from St. Lawrence University in 2019 with Departmental Honors in English. I love writing, whether it be a work of creative non-fiction or a short story, and I am an excellent editor, having worked in the publishing and editorial industry for multiple years after college. I am patient, kind, and engaged with students and I am excited to share my love for English (both writing and literature) with some young future authors, critics, or kids who don't yet know how impactful and rewarding learning to write well can be. I work a full time job but I am available in the evenings after 4:00 p.m. I'm happy to provide past work experience and/or references! Please reach out if you think we'd be a good fit!
