About Claire

I have a multitude of experience with tutoring and homework help. I worked at a middle school for a year wherein I designed lesson plans for teachers who wanted to incorporate outdoor learning in the school garden, but were unsure of how to teach in an outdoor classroom environment. I designed lesson plans for Math, English, Earth Science and Spanish - I could definitely tutor these subjects as well. I pride myself on my ability to creatively motivate and engage students. In past nannying positions, I have been able to assist with homework and long-term projects at the elementary and middle school level. I am supportive and encouraging when homework gets frustrating. In college, I helped with SAT prep and college admissions essays for students from my old high school.
