About Claire

Hi there! I am an Art Therapy graduate student at Pratt Institute with nearly 10 years of childcare experience. Before going back to school I worked as a full-time nanny for a family in Brooklyn who I remain close to. I traveled internationally many times with this family starting when their daughter was only 8 months old. Before full-time nannying, I was a preschool teacher and working actor. In undergrad, I wrote and performed for children in several Theater for the Very Young productions (focusing on children under 5 years old). I have a deep passion for all creative arts, and my portfolio spans acrylic paint, oil pastel, charcoal, clay, ukulele, found sculpture, jewelry making, embroidery, crochet, needle felting, and whatever other materials I can get my hands on! I am currently on school break until the end of January.
