About Claire

Hello, my name is Claire, I am 25 years old and student at Fairfield University's Second Degree Nursing Program. I have had a multitude of experiences caring for children, including babysitting my two younger siblings in high school, as well as holding a consistent babysitting job once a week for a 6 and 4-year-old during high-school. After earning my Biology degree at Providence College in 2012, I got a job as Nursing Assistant on a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Winthrop University Hospital (Mineola, NY). My daily responsibilities included checking the vital signs of my patients, attending to their activities of daily living which includes feeding and changing diapers for babies, as well as bathing and feeding children in timely fashion. I absolutely love taking care of children and hope to specialize in Pediatrics when I enter the field this Fall.
