About Claire

Hello Everyone! My name is Claire and I have 1 year of professional childcare from the YMCA, along with many years of babysitting for my neighbors. I believe in positive reinforcement and stopping negative behavior by distractions, as well kind explanations to walk through my reasoning behind not doing something so the child is involved in decision making. I am finishing my health and human services degree at UB concentrated in early childhood studies. I have taken many teaching classes on both general and inclusive classroom skills, as well as child development. You will never catch me on my phone, I am always present and my aim is to ensure the child is entertained and happy.
