About Claire

Hey there! I love teaching kids art and athletics. I am currently working as a one on one educator at an elementary school. Building trust, care and humor with children has been such a meaningful part of the work I do. Working with kids is a perfect balance between silly and serious. They never fail to challenge me and always succeed in broadening my mind and heart. I have a wide range of experience, from teaching kids art and rock climbing, survival skills and navigation, to doing puzzles, putting on plays, and relaxing to a good movie. In my spare time, I like to be active! I absolutely adore lifting, swimming, biking, trail running and exploring western mass. I also love to be creative, I dance, write, play violin, draw and am learning to cook! One thing you should know about me is that I feel connected to children who are spunky, wiggly, talkative, or have different learning profiles. My skills include imaginative play, listening and redirecting attention/hard behavior.
